An Introductory Guide to Hernia

A Hernia is an abnormal condition in which an organ pushes through an opening in the tissue or muscle that holds it in place. It allows tissues from the inside of the abdominal cavity to protrude or “herniate.” Inguinal hernias are the most common type of Hernia, accounting for 75 percent of hernias that affect the abdominal wall.
